Feeding Our Community with Faith
Providing Hope and Support
At the Matthew 25:35 Foundation, we believe that no family should go hungry. Join us in our mission to provide food assistance to families in need across the Quad Cities area, living our faith in action.

Light of Hope Backpack Program
Our 1st Light of Hope Backpack Program is now complete!
We would like to give a heart felt Thank You to everyone, corporate and individual, who donated money, resources and time to this worthy cause.
In all we were able to provide kid-friendly, weekend food to 55 plus families each of the weekends of the program.
Beyond that, the last week of the program we were able to send home extra food to help carry them through even further.
Thank you all for your love and action in helping these little ones and helping us show them the love of Christ.

Thank you so much!!!
Christmas 2024 is now past us.
Thanks to you, the 5th Annual "Be the Light" Christmas Meal Drive was a huge success!
In all, we were able to provide Christmas meal boxes to 93 families, in the QCA! 428 people blessed with full stomachs and the love of Christ!

Faith-based and Faith-motivated
Our name says it all...Matthew 25:35
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;

Light of Hope Backpack Program
Providing Food for QCA students dealing with food insecurity, filling the weekend gap during Summer School.

Annual "Be the Light" Christmas Meal Drive
Our signature event, and the one that gave rise to the Matthew 25:35 Foundation. We provide all of the food necessary for a true holiday feast.

Community Partnerships
We are working to build partnerships with local businesses and organizations in order to provide support on more occasions and in more situations.

Past and Present Partners
We have been blessed to be assisted by several partners, even before the Matthew 25:35 Foundation existed.
Walmart, HyVee and Jewel-Osco, Fareway, Prairie Farms Dairy, Neumiller Farms and dozens of individual supporters have made the past four Christmas meal drives possible.

Volunteer Only - No Employees
When you donate to us, your money goes right back out to those in need. Being volunteer only, we have minimal overhead.
